G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #305 (Image Comics, 2024)

Cobra Commander and his Techno-Vipers investigate the scene of the battle after three cyborgs self-destructed while fighting Dawn in G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #304. After a thorough investigation, the Vipers discover that Revanche Modified Vipers hacked into Cobra Commander's pep rally. Cobra Commander identifies Serpentor Khan and Dr. Mindbender as up to no good, and that a "third party" might be involved. He orders a search of Springfield.

Dawn, the "third party" in question, reports back to Duke from the attic of her parents' house that she engaged three Revanche modified cyborgs. While on the call, a Crimson Guard rings the bell and informs her parents that Cobra is looking for a suspect, and that Dawn fits the description. Her parents quickly beat the Crimson Guard up to protect their daughter.

Back at the G.I. Joe Pit, Duke, Black Hat, Mainframe, Airtight, and Stalker perform an autopsy on their captured and mostly destroyed Revanche cyborg. While on the operating table, its hand begins to move and scurries to Black Hat like the robot hand in G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #4. Stalker shoots it before it can do any real harm.

Spirit, Multo, and Lady Jaye take care of the three Revanche Enhanced Vipers who have been investigating how to infiltrate The Pit. Serpentor Khan and Dr. Mindbender, who were monitoring from Cobra Island, seem pleased.

At a Revanche facility in Baton Rouge, the Cobra Island casino patrons are being led into chambers to be "enhanced". A mutated Python officer kills a Revanche Blue Ninja who asks about a chip being implanted into the mutated casino-goers that isn't on the manifest. Serpentor and Dr. Mindbender muse about their plan to implant an additional chip that nullifies any Revanche control.

Additionally, Serpentor and Dr. Mindbender laugh about their "simalacrum" Zartan, who is meeting with Destro and Baroness. Meanwhile, the real Zartan is about to be blown up by a missile.
