G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #304 Story Summary
Scarlett and Snake-Eyes stage their own death after being ambushed in a quaint, romantic cabin in the Sierras by Enhanced Blue Ninjas in G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #303. They broadcast the gory scene back to Serpentor Khan, Dr. Mindbender, and Alpha-001 through a Blue Ninja head, sufficiently fooling the evil "geniuses". A team of Joes in the G.I. Joe Tomahawk pick up the damaged androids and plan to fly them back to The Pit for study.
Back in suburban Springfield, the G.I. Joe ninja, Dawn, is back with her Cobra-sympathizing parents. Under the cover of night, she sneaks out of their house and into town, where she discovers a patrol of enhanced mutants from Cobra Island doing a covert recce of Springfield's defenses.
Back at the Pit, Duke, Stalker, Lady Jaye, and Spirit monitor a team of Revanche Enhanced Vipers breaking into Camp Greer. They watch patiently.
On Cobra Island, Serpentor Khan increases production of Enhanced Ninjas, virus bombs, and more virus-related weapons.
Meanwhile, Cobra Commander rallies his troops and gives them his strategic plan for victory, knowing that Serpentor Khan and his Enhanced forces are coming. What Cobra Commander does not know is that Serpentor and Alpha-001 hacked their way into his rally and know his plans.
Airtight, Mainframe, and Black Hat learn that the androids they are carrying in the Tomahawk aren't as deactivated as they thought they were. A gunfight erupts in the back of the helicopter, which nearly destroys it until Wild Bill shows up and solves the problem with a handgun.
Dawn encounters the Enhanced Mutants and engages them in a swordfight. They acknowledge that she will win and self-destruct.
Lastly, Zartan shows up at Destro's castle in Scotland with news about The Pit, Springfield, and Cobra Island.
