Transformers #26 Story Summary

After the Ark returns from wherever it went, Thundercracker goes berserk after seeing his friend Skywarp mutilated and installed into Teletraan-1 like a cheap tape deck. After picking a fight with Wheeljack and Jazz, Ultra Magnus steps in to put the smack down.

But, rather than putting Thundercracker out of his misery, Optimus Prime decides to offer an olive branch in hopes of stopping the conflict (when will Optimus learn that peace doesn't sell comic books?)

General Flagg from G.I. Joe continues to befriend the Autobots while Prime tends to the captured Shockwave.

Carly and Spike help the Autobots rebuild Chicago after the destructive battle from several issues earlier.

Miles Mayhem (remember him from M.A.S.K.?) proves that he's a murderous asshole, and Elita, still on Cybertron, isn't much better as she continues to fume about Optimus Prime's support of Earth.

In good faith, the Autobots repair Skywarp, who, in return, shoots at them and flies away after shouting at Thundercracker. Thundercracker appreciates what the Autobots did for his friend and has an identity crisis as he contemplates switching sides.
