G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #302 (December 2023) - After the Mutant Virus Bomb goes off, the Cobra soldiers, tourists, and everyone else at Cobra Casino are now hideous flesh-eating zombie mutants. Wade Collins is laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetery, and Serpentor Khan makes plans to invade Springfield.

G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #302 Story Summary
The Mutant Virus Bomb explosion from the previous issue turns everyone in the Cobra Casino into drooling, brain-dead, cannibal mutants, including Serpentor Khan and Dr. Mindbender. The mutated casino-goers and Cobra soldiers fight for flesh, but they need more flesh than an island can provide. Serpentor proposes invading Cobra's town of Springfield because why not.
Meanwhile, the Joe's bury their comrade Wade Collins, and Stalker tells readers about their backstory (which takes place in Vietnam, so Stalker and Snake-Eyes are in great shape for octogenarians)
The robotic A.I. Alpha-001 continues to plot and scheme and sees an opening in Serpentor's dim-witted plan that it can exploit.
Mainframe does some computer wizardry to hack Cobra's signal, and Duke hopes to watch Serpentor's mutants and Cobra's minions destroy each other, though we all know that's wishful thinking.
And finally, Snake-Eyes proves once again that he's the most bad-ass Joe of all. Not only does he get cozy with Scarlett, but he also makes a mean rabbit stew.
