Transformers #33 Story Summary
The Autobots regroup after winning a battle against the Decepticons on Cybertron, when Elita used the Star Saber in Transformers #32. Victorious, but exhausted, Ultra Magnus, Elita, and the crew run into Bluestreak, who is happy to let them know that Hot Rod and Springer have returned from the Void Rivals series with a load of Energon.
On Earth, Carly, Spike, and the Autobots enjoy a bit of downtime. Optimus and Beachcomber help to repair bridges, while Arcee trains. The Aerialbots drop Wheeljack off at his new lab in the Cybertronian shard that fell to Earth.
Wheeljack falls while exploring the shard and discovers something unexpected, but the issue ends on a cliffhanger before readers discover what it is. Meanwhile, Shredhead and Cliffjumper investigate an explosion near the Ark, and a badly damaged Starscream crawls along the ocean floor.
