Story Summary

The Shoguns return to their homes after the extraordinary events, and they have much to explain to their loved ones about their mysterious absence. Richard Carson's girlfriend in Los Angeles finds his story too far-fetched to believe.

Ilongo Savage returns to his research center in Madagascar, his dolphins, and his special lady-friend Judith, who is transfixed by the new pendant around his neck.

Genji Odashu returns to a mob of reporters in Japan, questioning her disappearance. She is whisked away in a limousine by friend and work comrade Kosei, who also notices that she has a fancy new pendant.

Meanwhile, the U.S. Navy spots a mysterious object in the ocean moving towards the California coast.

Carson's girlfriend, Deena, remains all kinds of jealous and confused over dinner, but finds herself transfixed by his "freaky pendant" too. Carson explains that the pendant is a communication device given to him by Dr. Tambura, so that the Shoguns can be summoned in times of danger. Deena responds by pouring a glass of wine on his head.

A short time later, an enormous metallic behemoth attacks innocent beachgoers with laser beam-firing flying saucers! After contacting Carson on his Pendant, Dr. Tambura sends Raydeen to him, complete with a shimer tube, into which Carson jumps a motorcycle, then boards the enormous robot.

Carson saves his girlfriend by eating her (by holding her up to his robot mouth so she can climb inside). Now she believes his story! But can Raydeen defeat this mysterious new mechanical monster from the sea when it assembles a shape-shifting head out of flying saucers?
