G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #326 Story Summary

In the fictional Middle Eastern country of Benzeen, near the Trucial Abysmia border, the Joe extract the terrorist Fares Bakr, chief political officer of the Black Scimitar, in an APC. The G.I. Joe team consists of Duke, Roadblock, Scarlett, and Mongoose. The extraction seemed to be going well until it didn't, and terrorists hit the armored personnel carrier with an RPG.

With the APC immobilized, the terrorist soldiers climb on top and prepare to drop a grenade inside until Snake-Eyes greets them with his sword. Roadblock hops out of the back and opens fire with his machine gun.

The Joes regroup and assess the situation. All of them are wounded from shrapnel caused by the explosion, and the prisoner is bleeding out. They run to a nearby building and take cover, and more terrorists swarm the area.

As terrorists scale the building and break through doors, Scarlett and Snake-Eyes unleash a hail of gunfire and dispense death. Mongoose tries to stabilize the prisoner while Duke provides additional cover fire. Snake-Eyes and Scarlett do their best to kick grenades back at the enemy.

Nearby, Lift Ticket tries to get to the pinned-down Joes in the Tomahawk for a medevac, but is unable to land because of enemy fire.

With no end to the terrorists in sight, Snake-Eyes takes matters into his own hands and eliminates the enemies on the roof with flares and a shotgun. Finally, the Tomahawk lands, and Spirit promises to buy Snake-Eyes a beer. Sadly, the terrorist prisoner dies, but nobody seems too bothered.

Yo, Joe!
