The Godzilla: Kai-Sei Era comic book series, published by IDW Publishing, introduces a new chapter in the long-running Godzilla comic legacy, presenting a fresh continuity inspired by the spirit of Toho’s classic monster storytelling. Launched in 2025 with Godzilla: Kai-Sei Era #1, the series is written by Tim Seeley with interior art by Nikola Čižmešija, establishing a modern shared universe where giant monsters once again shape the fate of humanity in an alternate timeline-world living under the constant threat and awe of colossal kaiju and supernatural forces.
