King Conan #10 (Marvel Comics, 1982)

King Conan #10 (May 1982) titled "The Fang of Set" proves that Conan is the most gullible monarch ever (it's a good thing he's good at killing stuff!) After his wife, Zenobia, and Conn go away for a few days, Conan is left at home alone with responsibilities and surrounded by enemies. It's like a Brady Bunch episode gone bad and with more blood, gore, and giant prehistoric monsters.

Story Summary | King Conan #10

Ernie Chan takes over pencils and inks for this fun-filled issue of King Conan, where, to nobody's surprise, Zenobia proves to be a much better ruler than Conan. After she and Conn leave for a wedding, Conan is immediately suckered into rescuing some stranger's daughter who just happens to be trapped in The Land of the Lost on top of a mountain filled with dinosaurs. After rescuing her and killing an odd-looking monster with its own tooth, Conan is fooled again into wearing a magic pendant and fighting wizards and even more dinosaurs in his very home. Does Zenobia come home to a mess?
