Conan the Barbarian #90 Story Summary

On their way South to reclaim Bêlit's throne, Conan and his team discover a secret cave hidden in the ground after a giant earthquake. In addition to countless bats, a mysterious treasure called the Diadem of the Giant-Kings. A huge skeleton lies nearby.

While Conan and  Bêlit have their backs turned, their team of "helpers" decides to help themselves to the treasure, only to discover that the huge skeleton grows skin, muscle, and a giant eyeball! The newly animated monster begins killing everyone as it reclaims its magic headband. Conan leaps into action in defense of his girlfriend and friend Zula, but finds that the giant monster is more than a match for even his mighty muscles.

An exciting ending awaits readers in this excellent issue of Conan the Barbarian, capably crafted by the winning team of Roy Thomas, John Buscema, and Ernie Chan.
