About

ComicBook.beer is the continuation of Mark Bussler's 80sComics series. This is (planned to be) a collection and review show about comic books and beer If you like comic books and beer, grab a stool, join us at the bar, and welcome to the party! Everyone is welcome provided you aren't an asshole. Only cool people who are kind to each other are welcome.

*You don't have to order a beer, we'll happily serve you water or Jolt Cola instead.

ComicBook.beer is intended to be a completely unprofessional show. We aren't accepting review copies. Maybe it'll be filmed on a smartphone, a VHS camcorder, or 4K cinema equipment... I haven't figured it out yet.

About the producer/host: Mark Bussler is a 25-year filmmaking veteran who directed and produced documentary films for DVD, PBS, and more. He is the creator and producer of the long-running Classic Game Room series (1999-2024) and is now the president of CGR Publishing. Bussler is the artist and writer of numerous comic book series including Omega Ronin, Ethel the Cyborg Ninja, and the upcoming SwordRealm. ComicBook.beer is the spiritual successor to his 80sComics review show (officially 2019-2023.) Bussler is also the producer of electronic music artists Omega Ronin and Turbo Volcano and enjoys mixing music, beer, and comics. If you dig music, beer, and comics then you've come to the right place!
